I found a turbo upgrade at rx-7store.net that is a twin turbo upgrade with 2 T28 turbos. Has anybody seen that setup run yet, and was wondering what you guys think the estimated HP would be off of that? Let me know.

 

thats pretty cool t28's are tiny though thats a stock S15 turbo.(S15=new silvia if you didnt know). Good response but probably hella expensive. power dont know depends on fuel and tuning as usual.

 

wouldnt you get the same response on a single about double the size of those two.... and probably half the cost too

But what about lag wise, wouldn't the smaller turbos spool up quicker than a big old one.

 

probably would spool up just the same of a single turbo of an equivalent size

 

i hate the way internal wastgates look too, theyre all up in the turbos grille.



yea what martin saids true just because u have 2 smaller turbos it doesnt mean they will spool faster, ur splitting the exaust flow in 2 therefore either turbo gets half the exaust. if al the exause was channeled through 1 single turbo double the size it should spool at the same speed
