I haven't seen one in a while, but that's how I think it's mounted stock, right in front of the radiator.

redom is supposed to be a good ecu. it doesn't give great overall power but very good reliability and response. your making all of the US guys jealous with your cool JDM stuff

Is the rx-7 you're getting from Japan JDM? right-hand drive? If so, how did you deal with the customs issues? I've been looking to import one myself, but I'm not quite sure of what all is involved. Still need to continue research.

Well, what I know so far is you can get a JDM 3rd gen for about $5000 to $10000 used over there, normally with under 50,000 miles. Overseas freight cost minimum $900, if you know an importer. Sometimes, these already have body kits, mods done to them. I would've already imported one, however, US customs has some stiff restrictions on importing automobiles, especially from Japan. They also have emissions requirements. Even if you pass the requirements, you have to wait for them to dissect it(about a couple of months at least).

I even thought about having one shipped to the Bahamas, then smuggling it in under US plates (That was in a drunken moment of brilliance) when I sobered up, it didn't seem like such a good idea. So, I inbvested my spare cash into upgrades for my 2nd gen.

Anyways, any customs agents here or experienced importers, let me know please.

Something makes me think that FLINT(Rich) is British. If he also lives there, then it becomes obvious why he can easily import JDM autos. England doesn't have the trade restrictions like we (USA) have. As a matter of fact, importing from Japan is common there from what I understand.
