I plan on going with the GT 35/40 single turbo kit in about a year and a half.. maybe sooner... when i do i will drop in a FMIC.. but for now i want a smic thats good for about 14psi, with an intake, downpipe, midpipe, exhaust, fuel pump and ecu upgrade for it all. i really dont want to spend alot of money on it since i will end up selling it when i go single... but for now i would to stay away from the hassle of putting in a fmic. i also want a smic that will fit with a stock battery or a slightly smaller battery, but same location... what do you recommend?? greddy? blitz? M2? pfs? i REALLY dont want to spend alot of money.. sub $800 if at all possible... does anyone make one efficient enough for that price range new? or am i gonna have to search for a used one? thanks in advance!

I had the Blitz SMIC for a while. I agree with Vosko, again, that FMICis the only way to go. IF you go Greddy than you can opt for pipes for a twin setup or a single setup. So I assume that you could always go twin now and then when you decide to go single then just order the single turbo pipe kit.

The Blitz SMIC was alot better than stock, it held charge longer, did not heat the intake temps as much and would cool them down faster. I would use ice on mine when I went to the track and on a 95 degree day my intake charge was around 28-30 and after a race it would be upwards of 50 but alot better than stock. I have never used the greddy or M2 but I don't think they allow the stock battery to stay there.

Has anyone tried to make ducting going to the radiator using the passages in the R1 or 99Spec lip?

Don't even know if it's possible, but might be worth a looksee..
