im looking for a place thatll make ic pipes for me out of aluminum. i know most regular pipes have no nipple on the end, but when you boost, the rubber joint pops off.



i need a place that can create pipes with a small flare on the end to keep the rubber joints together under boost. anyone know of a place in the mid west?

It is just a tool that they put in the aluminum pipe and expands making the lip that you are talking about. Damn I can't think of what it is called

 

You can make a tool to do this from a pair of vice grips.



Weld a bead on one side, and grind a groove in the other. Sure, it'll take awhile per pipe, but you're talking nearly no investment.

 

todd, of course u know why im asking haha. i found the us distributor for samco which im sure will hold good boost. but that idea with the vise grips seems very interesting. do you have some sort of pic or diagram? im all about little to no investment to get things done
