I was thinking of doing a custom oil cooler job on my car but before I begin it, I had a few questions I need to ask. I've got what's considered the U.S. R1 Package(two oil coolers and cloth interior).

~Does anyone know the stock sizes of the oil coolers that were available to the 7's in the U.S.?

~Which year would be the best to pick if I were to use a stock oil cooler?

Any input appreciated guys!

Seeing as you are in Japan, use two JC Cosmo oil coolers, they are bigger than 7 ones as the Cosmo only has one. Much more cooling area and you have bypass thermostats in each

I've heard from someone in Japan that some people use the B&M transmission cooler as their oil cooler. I've never heard of anyone doing it before. Has anyone ever heard of this?
