newbie with a turbo timer ques.

Hey all, could someone tell me which wires on the ECU do I need to tap into to install a HKS type 1 turbo timer. tia.

It didn't come with any instructions? I don't see why it would need to tap into the ecu. The Greddy one doesn't. It only hooks up to the ignition module and the E brake.

I don't think you need to hook any wires up to the ECU.

Just the ignition harness and the e-brake wire. Did your TT come w/ a harness for you car? If it does, it just plugs into the ignition harness...

If it doesn't come w/ a harness, you're gonna have to hardwire it. I did this once and didn't hook up anything to the ECU.

Your going to need the diagrams for your cars ignition harness as well, but www.hksusa.com has the instructions on their site.

I didn't need themto install it. Why did you? The plug that it piggybacks on is pretty obvious.

turbo timers are useless.......................



yipee, i'm gonna let my engine sit here, getting hotter, with no airflow over the radiator, and the oil flowing through the turbos is getting hotter as a result of my car sitting here running
