I'll have some whenever I can get in touch with my friend. We're supposed to work out a trade.
sounds good to me. hmmm maybe i'll send the housings to RB to get lapped
You can take out the stationary gears and rub the housings together using valve grinding compound.
i'll let you do that :P i might have found two 89 rotors + two 89 housings for $400 we'll see what happens. actually if its $400 i'm better off getting another jspec for $650 and selling the parts off this one
$400 would be a great deal if they're in good shape. I tried calling my friend, but no answer. It seems that everybody who owes me parts/money never answers their phone.

$50 per surface. so $200 for an entire engine.

Thanks,

Couldnt just about any machine shop do that??? Isnt it basically like resurfacing a flywheel? $50 doesnt sound to bad but after you throw in shipping it'll prob start to really add up. How deep can the grooves be before they say "sorry its too far gone", I'd imagine they cant shave off very much

Yes, any machine shop should be able to do it. You can check the factory manual for the specs, or just give either Mazdatrix or Racing Beat a call.
