you can turbo it, its just not gonna like it cause its got smaller apex seals and higher compression

mike
wont the high compression spool up the turbos faster, and give you better lower end power?

They didn't turbo it because of emissions and Ford didn't want to put forth the cash to fund testing of a turbo set up... Ie.. Renisis is nothing more than the N/A FC, just hang out for a year or two and the real deal will be released.. Supposedly there is a 1.5 liter 2 rotor turbo engine in development...

What would happen to performance and reliability if I put in a Renesis, then took out the twin turbos and replaced them with a sequential setup of a supercharger and some really heavy single turbo? Assuming I won the lottery and gained the necessary technical abilities by means of a radioactive asteroid or something?
Oh no, add the twin supercharger with NOS activated turbos and a header for best results. Watch out though, I've seen a lot of passengers fall through the floor when the panel breaks off.

a 15c maybe?

I think they are trying to restore faith in the rotary with the renesis. If they turbo it it'll be just as bad as the FD, and people won't ever like the rotary.

yes, but high compression is not what you want for middle to high boost because it encourages preignition and/or detonation.

maybe if you take the fd rotors and put them in the renisis block.... hmmmm
