Header Design
#1
Is it possible, or has anyone, made a turbo manifold that's accoustically tuned to scavenge exhaust for 2 or 3 rotor engine? With a turbo bolted in place, I guess it may cause too much back pressure for scavenging effects to work properly. If it could be done, you can have mad overlap and it wouldn't matter. The exhaust pulse will draw exhaust gases out very quickly, at the same time it pull in fresh air into the combustion chamber.

that's true. Since most race cars operate at WOT 80% of the time, they tune for high rpm. But since a bridgeported engine idles high because of the huge over lap, could you not tune the header for a lower rpm (say 1000). That way, the intake would not be so diluted, and the engine would not have to idle very high.
