Anyone have any experience with the Guru dog engaged tranny? A friend is having a problem with his new tranny. When shifting from second to third under power the tranny went into first and was locked in first until the tailshaft housing was removed and the linkage disengaged. The tranny works fine normal driving.

It is in a FC, behind a 20b with streetport and T-88 Goliath, it was the only transmission he could find that might hold the power and not be a full racing automatic setup. HKS, Trust, Route 6... none of them could garuntee that their trannies could hold the power he wanted to make.

Jammed linkage is what it sounds like to me. I think it has something to do with the build. Actually it's not in the 20b car, Scott put it in his (secondary bridge/T51S@1.8kilos/TEC3), because his tranny is on the way and the 20b isn't even built yet.

This guy rivals Vosko in his ability to break ****!

I have a Guru at the shop. They are a bit complicated to assemble.
