5th gear locking collar, 5th and Reverse synchro's run about $250 so It's a fairly cheap fix Except you need a specail tool to pull the freaken bearing off the ouput shaft and that is what makes it a freaken bitch..

i just want to never break a tranny again. i tried to call judge ito to talk to him about this but i'm pretty sure the shop is closed for the holidays. oh well it can wait a few days. still waiting back to hear from guru

The performance gain you will get with the Guru will be worth it, let alone the realiability improvements!



Several drag guys have improved by up to 1 sec just by bolting on the gearbox. Let alone once they really learn how to drive it!



It is amazing how many people in all forms of racing will spend heaps of money on engines but then foregt about the gearbox and the gains that can be made.

i don't think people forget................ they just don't have the extra money to spend $5000 on a gearbox LOL
