Is there a difference between gas fuel injectors and alcohol fuel injectors or are they the same???

same except you need like 3 times as many cc's of alcohol than gas

ok good to know...becuase i have a guy who wants to sell me some 1600cc bosch injectors that he was running with alcohol. I want to put them in my car and i run pump gas

at what price... if the price of the used and new is fairly close.. i'd go with new, they are not very expensive parts

the 1600's are made for a flexible fuel crown victoria/chrysler p.o.s.

thanks for the info... i just talked to RC engineering...and they said that unless they flush the injectors with gas after every run...it's likely that they are not rebuildable because the alcohol will "melt" the inside of the injector...so i think i will pass on the used injectors and go with new ones

Summit Racing started to sell the popular Ford Motorsports "150lb/hr" fuel injectors for under $500 for a set of 8.

That's less than $70/each, but you need a buddy to split the cost.

No. its more then 2 times. From what we found on demetrious's car was about 2.8 - 2.9 times the amount of fuel.



he is running 10 1600cc injectors.
