i've been thinking about upgrading my intake for my FB, and have been playing around with ideas. either take off the snorkel and run an open air filter like people usually do, or use the snorkel to my advantage. Underneath the coolant reservoir is a hole that leads to out in front of the radiator. i figured that was where the air came in for the intake since the snorkel points in that direction. what if i get some type of flex pipe and just connect the two? I think it would work not only as a CAI but also as a ram air intake. What do you guys think?
