lol, I was thinking in Japanese..

Japanese call the intake manifold a surge tank.. LMAO

I used to have one in the back of my fd.. They are great for making sure you don't suck air when you do a hard drag launch as well, but a sump will be damn near as good.. :yum:

well you guys have those wacky surge tanks.... LOL
huh? What surge tanks? Unless you looked underneath my car, you would not be able to tell if I had dual pumps or not. If I don't know what a surge tank looks like in an FD, does this mean I don't have one?

According to GlassMan's figures on the other not mentioed site, the Walbro is 250/lph and the SupraTT is 260/lph. With the adapters or whatever to make it bolt in, the Walbro is about $115. I have no idea how much a used Supra pump is from the supra forum or a junk yard. Walbro FPM015 high pressure pump

Why are these fuel pumps 3-5 times as much $?

I'm sure that the Supra pump will flow 260 lph, but at what fuel pressure. At 0 psi, I am at appx. 45 psi fuel pressure.

Like I said before, with my old supra pump, as soon as the wastegate cracked open, the fuel pressure plummeted i.e. hit below 30 psi. The walboro LOW pressure did this as well, but only after 6000 rpms.

With both FD pumps in, I don't lose pressure at all. :bigok:

Yeah when I talked to Ray about fuel systems he said that alot of guys waste alot of money on unnessecary ****. He said he was running dual supra pumps and the same fuel line setup as Jspec. All stock lines, not upgraded **** that costs an assload of money.

He was only running a little over 600rwhp when he told me this though. Not sure if he changed anything since then.
Ray has the right idea! The supra pumps will work great, but like I said for the price of one supra pump, you could EASILY get 2 walboro pumps brand new.

van i don't have a picture but i'm talking about those surge tanks that people put in the hatch with a second or third fuel pump in it. i'm not talking about the intank pumps. i've seen them on like every tuner car in japan. it looks so stupid!

90% of the cars that have them race circuit and the other 10% use them for drag racing... Most people don't actually use them... I did for a while when I was using my Aeroquip 1000 hp inline pump, but the noise was pissing me off.. lol So now we have dual walboro's...

I'm gonna try my stock FC pump feeding the primaries (through

the existing feed line), and my Waldo feeding the secondaries

(using the existing return line). Then, plumb a new rubber return

line back to the tank. S/b plenty of fuel, and low cost too

- cheap is good... as long as there's pleny of fuel
