Cooling Mist Products
#11
To clarify a few things about our products. On turbo charged cars the water is sprayed AFTER the turbo. If you spray before you will eventually chip the blades on your turbo and as pointed out it will just heat up again.
its a very fine mist of water so it evaporates instantly. This evaporation soaks up the heat and allows the car to have better combustion. In most cars this by itself leads to more HP. It allows more timing, more boost and steam cleans the engine.
In our 94 rx7 the intake temps are always ambient. Its a great mod and lowers your intake temps better than the biggest intercooler.

When you run alcohol in our kits they become "alcohol injection kits". Its compatable with either. But alcohol while having advantages has disadvantages also. Nothing prevents detonation as well as water. If you have 2 identical cars..one running water injection the other running alcohol the car with the alcohol will be more likely to ping then the one running water.

[quote name='spooliNrx7' date='May 10 2005, 09:49 PM']So how often do you have to refill your water source? Do you have to use only distilled water?

A 1 gallon tank will typically last between fill ups (we sell 3 different tanks. 1.5 qt, 2.5 qt or 1 gallon). I use tap water and our water filter. Some use distilled water.
Thanks!
