I just got my B&M Sport Shifter for my FD, and was wondering what type of grease should I put on the shift seat? What weight/brand oil should I put in the change control case?



Has anyone installed the B&M Sport Shifter in their FD? Likes/Dislikes? Easy install?

I don't have a B&M; mine is a Mazdatrix. Wheel bearing grease on the shift ball and synthetic 70-90 gear oil in the case. I use Redline, but any high quality synthetic will work fine. It's a good idea to put synthetics in the Xmission and rear end too. If your rear end is LSD make sure the oil you use is the correct type.

 

i HAD a short shifter but really didnt like it.. i had a centerforce dual friction clutch to so i dont know if that went into play or not.
