unorthodox main drive pully, it says that it adds 12-16hp with shoudl still equate to almost 11rwhp does this make sense from just a pully. im very interested what exactly does it do, what negative/positive effects are there. has anyone verified these numbers or any signifigant gains for that matter? thanks

it slows down all the belt driven accesories, the less you have to spin something the less power it takes.

yea but does that have any negative effects like drop in voltage or weaker p/s etc

yup, it will drop voltage (maybe not enough to do anything), it might make the ps harder (this would be good, imo).

Myself I don't like the idea of the underdrive main pulley because if you've removed your airpump, making the crank pulley smaller gives you even less contact between the belt and the water pump pulley. They have little enough contact as it is.

I have a full pulley set and I like the difference it made. It does not make hp but it frees power from belt-driven accessories. My a/c, lights, radio, etc all work perfectly.

i doubt you'll see 11rwhp from a pully, maybe 4-6 or somewhere in that area.
