12a Rotor Housings On A 13b....

a friend of mine was tellin me bout just puttin 12a rotor housings on tha stock engine i have in my se will that really work out good?if so how good?will it easlily bolt 2 tha engine?

I have heard the same but you need to use '85 and earlier 13B rotor housings.

You have to be specific when your asking a question. You really don't make anysense. Lucky to me you do. What your friend is saying is. You could use 12A side housings with your gsl-se 13B engine. You could swap the 6 port side housings for 12A 4 port side housings. He is talking about side housings not rotor housings like your thread is saying. no big deal is just people could not answer your question if they don't understand what your asking. and yes the 12A side housings will bolt on to your se- tranny with no problem. If you use the 12A plates your going to have to take off the Fuel injection and run a carb.

i think he was talkin bout puttin tha rotor housings cuz he said somethin bout tha rotor being bigger than tha housing somethin somethin somethin i 4got wha he said....so if i do either one i'd have 2 switch 2 carb?....cuz i was thinkin later after i do that i put a nice t-04 on it for some more power but if i have 2 switch 2 carb i'd have 2 do a wierd turbo set up that i hear is no good if i still wanted 2 turbocharge it later on down tha road

Maybe you should do some research before asking a question like this cause if you did you'd know that the rotor housings and rotor on a 13B are about a 1/2" wider then on a 12A.

he tld me somethin like that...he said by doin that is similar 2 boring a piston engine or somethin like that so i'd get more power by doin that...is he right or wha's goin on?

he's got it backwards, by putting 12a rotor housings on a 13b you're making the engine smaller. smaller engine = less power

i spoke with him tha other day he said tha side housings so i can switch it from 6port to 4port an some other stuff
