I'm debating on getting the 3rd Gen. RX-7. I don't know what else to get if not the 7. My price range that I want to spend is around 16,000 i'd expect when i'm able to purchase a car. I am willing to do payments if it's more at a dealer or private owner. If you guys know of any cars that perform as well or better than the seven and also look as good as the seven. hit me back up.

for 16k your not going to find a used car that will, look as goo,d handle as well, have the go power and the rarity of an fd, i think you should stick ot that

I also think you should stick with that and if not a fd3s you can get a very nice fc3s with that kinda money. Either way get a RX7.

you gotta remember, on a budget of 16k, you cant even buy some hondas (im not talking nsx here, im talking some civic models haha). you cant come close to even buy a toyota camery man...

on antoher note, you would be amazed at what 16k will buy you in terms of fd's (although you might need to do the work yourself and work a few bugs). in anycase, good luck with your search.

Yeah. Well If I was to get a civic. I'd get a raged one and drop in an H22 in there and turbo charge it and stuff. I was thinking about a Prelude for a while cause i like the style, but the 7 just takes all others out in my mind. I feel that it has the look of a vette, but is an import and cheaper. hehe. I'm like 75% sure i'm gonna be stickin with my fd. I don't really want an fc. They aren't that nice looking to me. I live in L.A. CA. So I really don't wanna travel over about 120 miles or so to find a 7. I was highly considering on gettin one from like the south or east coast. cause they got some clean ones out there. but don't know if I can just rely on them to be shipped out here. enless it's like at 11g's with 65,000 miles and red with the touring package. then I don't think I can resist. lol.

I recently ran a 2 generation eclipse the all wheel drive model-Gsx. He put up a good race he owned me on the launches, but the seven pulled out ahead in mid second and then I owned him in third. I don't think it was modified that much, so you should look around before you buy a seven some cars with the cash you'll have left can own a seven.

Go with a 7. Be unique. But it is a given, they require time and money.

I also would reccomend a toyota Mr2 the early 91-96 models run mid 14's stock. You can purchase one for around 4-9 grand of course the Turbo model.

Mr2's are too small for me. I don't like the fact of having the engine behind me. lol. Have you guys driven the G35. OMG.... what a wonderful machine. haven't driven the 7 yet. but if it has the same power or more and even more when i fix it up. oh man. i'ma love it.
