That's a fully blown racer with a aero-kit and slicks - it'd be doing pretty bad not to wipe the floor with Murcielago's and Enzo's.

Paul Mumford drove in the Speed World challange with that car. Thats a hell of a car for the price.

Just imagine Mumford used to show up to races with his car on a trailer and a red wagon. The wagon had a spare tire, jack and tools to change it, oh and a buddy as his pit crew. His competitors (Audi and BMW) had Semi's with full pit crews and tons of spares including full changes of tires.

Paul would qualify on his worn tires from the last race to preserve his fresh tires for the race at hand. When laughed at over the red wagon one man pit crew he said if your car isnt ready for the race when you arrive you shouldnt be there.

He kicked their asses as a un-sponsored 2 man race team. He is the reason I sit and wonder if one of those Vipers isn't the best route to go for a low budget racer trying to make a name for themselves.

Nice car.

a viper kills anything near it';s price....and a z06 is plain the steal of the century.

i think it was like one second behind the viper in road races.

The thing with vipers, you need a pro to take it to the limits.

Dodge figures the Competition is good for 193 mph, but we only got it to 160—which it achieved in 20.9 seconds, 1.4 seconds quicker than it takes a Nissan 350Z to hit 120 mph.

1.19 GS to the ferrari enzo's 1.09. The z06 pulls 1.00 OUCH.

it's simple, unless you go z06 or viper, you need an exotic 50K above to match it, and still NOT get the milage and/or emissions.

they gave it a weigth penalty of a 100 pounds...(why hate or help slow cars?)

That's a fully blown racer with a aero-kit and slicks - it'd be doing pretty bad not to wipe the floor with Murcielago's and Enzo's.

It's not even a bolt on car..520hp? so basically a flowmaster, a kit (ferrari spends big $$$ to wind-tunnel test their cars..while the Viper is Mass produced.

******' A! I would not want to meet one of those on the street, at the track, or anywhere unless I was driving it.

I love to see Audi get spanked...
