How do you figure that?

I don't think a viper can do 100+ mph in first gear. I would bet the 1 - 2 shift on a viper would be some where between 30 - 40 mph. Just like most other high performance cars.

I'd like to know how he'd get to 5th gear, which would be somewhere around 120-130, before the Viper even made it to 180 mph. I HATE it when people talk about a car beating them without going past "x" gear. It makes no sense.

I hate how people think that hp determines a car's top speed (well it does with low powered cars), when it all about the gears. But then again, you can gear a car to the moon, you just need the hp to get through them all.
