My guess is they are expensive to repair. They dont seem to be a car that is likely to get stolen often. *shrugs*
I talked about this ery thing yesterday with my boss. He wanted to know why it cost so much more for my 4runner then my FD. Then someone said that it is because they get stolen alot. As for repairs. Nothing has ever failed that I couldnt do myself. Parts arent that expensive. The only major thing was the transmission started to fail. Changed the fluid and filter and it was back on the road. Only thing he is gonna have a problem with is changing the fuel filter. And I am sure other 4runner owners know what I am talking about!!
