I still dont know why you dont lease them, at least if they are doomed or crap you just give them the keys back.
If you want to buy it- then you do and its the same money.
Or in the case of my last Mazda 6 lease- it would have been CHEAPER for me to buy it after leasing it then buy it when I got it new.

ive been averagin 20k per year on mileage the last three years... leasin wouldnt work for me..
after several weeks of bickerin... mostly from my failure to produce oil purchase receipts...
mazda decided to honor my warranty on the turbo failure... from the body shop and dealership.. been without the speed the last month..

Wow. It seems like there are quite a few issues with the speed6. Friend of my just had his transaxle fixed under a TSB. He brought the car into the dealership because he noticed there was oil on his garage floor where he parks his speed6. Turns out they replaced the transaxle for him? He wasn't clear on the details, and isn't that car savvy, just a crazy driver.
He also said if you drive through a high pressure touchless car wash the sunroof will leak water in.
