now i know WHY they put the engines in the rear. so if you hit a tree at 200mph, you can still MAYBE have the engine INTACT! haha.

umm...so if you hit a tree at 200 mph your worried about saving the engine? How about your LIFE? Because in a 200 mph car crash...I wouldn't be thinking about an engine.

I don't know, have you ever seen the price on replacing carbon fiber? I think that would be pretty close to totalling. There was a story not too long ago on a forum about a Lotus where the front bumper and fender were completely fucked up in a 15mph crash, the car was called total by the insurance company. I think this one would be close.
