No mention of it being legalized. Probably isn't then. Someone likely to get a bit of a surprise.

You can't federalize a 1999 Skyline. Does not happen, not even by Motorex or RBMotoring.

you can federalize a R-34. they will not pass certain states emissions laws when you try. It wont pass california, NY and a few others, however it will pass Nevadas if you want an R-34 its special ordered to you state.

the pictures were not taken in pa. in pa we arent issued a front license plate, and our normal ones are considerabally larger than that one. anywho, you can register an r34, you have to change the seat belts, steering column from a sentra and some other stuff. a buddy of mine has his at motorex right now, and might not have it back before he gets shipped back out.

some things in legalizing a skyline... seat belts are one they need to meet dot regs, they have to reenforce the front end a little (just like the evo7) they had to re map the computer to use US gas (formulated diffrent than euro/jpn gas). then you had to get the thing to pass EPA (extreme protine aquisition) smog standards. which is a bitch. I feel sorry for motorx, they had to destroy so many of each model in crash tests to find out what needed to be done then crash a few more to prove the mods worked. the mods that are done to skylines adds some weight to them..when the evo7 was trying to get legalized they added over 250lbs to it. But didn't matter anyway they just redesigned the car to pass us standards and now evo8

A 1999? I don't think so. I'm not saying there are NOT post 1996 running around or that Motorex or RB didn't bring any in (and I doubt anyone else got one past US CUSTOMS without going through RB...unless they swam over the borders). I am saying that there issues going past 1996 and that to resolve the issue the cars must be brought to ODB-II compliance. Talk to Sean about it at Motorex. You can federalize a pre-96 car in 10 months or less but only through RB or Motorex. Show me proof of one that didn't go through them and I'll show you a car that isn't registered properly.

Edit: Added this...had a bad day at work so common sense says that I am all wrong and may have responded with the torch set to high. Every other word I said is probably wrong!

I know this is sort of gay but yes paul walker from very gay very curious has a very nice white 99 R-34 thats legal its showed in one of my mags at a car show.

ADDED: I'll look for this car club page I found once. These guys are in Hawaii and they have several R-34 skylines...and Hawaii has some real hard car moding laws. I'll post the page if I can find it again.

you can have a 1999 or newer skyline...go to the motor rex webist...they have them...

how come they'd list a price for a car they can't get?
