Question About Brakes
#1
I have been having a problem with the front brakes on my Jeep. I replaced the front rotors and pads last fall. I have less than a thousand miles on them so far since I don't drive it all that much. My problem is that one side is not releasing and causing the pads to drag. This first happened after I had let it sit for about a month and then took it for a spin, after the first few times I used the brakes it started sticking on the drivers side. I had to pull over and let it cool continuously to avoid any sort of fire. Finally after letting it cool for about a half hour I drove it home and it seemed to work fine. Yesterday I had to drive it and it did the same thing, except the passenger wheel was dragging this time. I had to do the same as before and stop, letting the brakes cool, finally waiting it out for about a half hour and driving it home without a problem. Again, it had been over a month since I had driven it. The rotors are new and the pads are Raybestos brand. I will probably just start out by bleeding them again and maybe changing the fluid. Any help would be nice, thanks.

either your brake lines or your calipers are bad, being as
the jeep is old and the parts are cheap, change both
and be done with it
a collapsed brake line will cause the caliper to hang
I did ALL new brakes on my jeep like 2 years ago, the parts
came to nothing
