Ok one of the first cars i ever bought was an 88 Nissan 200sx (yes that says 200) it had power sun roof, all digital gauge cluster, kewl trip computer

that calculated mpg and how far i could go on the gas i had, nice seats, long low front end , auto and back wheel drive (o it was a 2.0 btw), it was a NICE car, not fast but nice...Now front engine rear wheel drive and did pretty good with the 2.0, but i was layin in bed the other night dreaming of what it woulda been like with a rotary in it... Now imagine that really nice car with a REALLY nice 13b......if anyone has a spare 200sx with all the stuff mentioned above, ship it to me :P I got a project to start and i wanna start NOW!!! :P I know some stumble blocks are gonna be...getting a converter to convert all ECU info to sumthing the gauge panel will understand and so it will be accurate....engine bay space SHOULDN'T be a problem...i think the transmission will clear the tunnel too, the auto was center mounted in my car and sat decently high up....rear end will prolly have to be welded in, i figure i will use the rx-7 rear diff/axle/drive shaft.....exhaust again not a prob...anything i am not thinkin of here ppl? o and the 200sx had lights just like 87 rx-7's too :P pop up style anyway

how about here

or here

just search for S12 Silvia

honestly I'd rather swap in the VG30DET into there, they already came with the VG30DE, some of them, so it would be a super easy swap

Looks pretty cool. Is the VG30DET the 3000GT engine?

I like the 200SX...almost bought one a while back. That would be a fun project, but I wouldn't go rotary...just your every day high powered Nissan engine.

No, and I MESSED UP, how could I, I should've said the VG30ET, because some 200SXs came with the VG30E, SOHC 3.0 n/a V6. The VG30ET (same basic engine, with single turbo) can hold about 400hp on stock internals. There's no such thing as a VG30DET, there is a VG30DETT (twin turbo), and that was the 300ZX Turbo engine.

CaptainSkoobing used to have an 86 Impulse Turbo.. That car had LSD, a five link rear end, and a pretty evil look.. the engine was a 1.9.. Anywayz, we have been pondering what that sucker would have been like with a T2 engine in there.. it would have saved some weight.. No one ever expected that car to be fast..

some of those had a sohc ca18et also. The mounts for that engine mean that a ca18det or sr20det will bolt in directly, getting the dash to work is another issue but i think msd makes a box that will convert tach signals.
