If you drove a boxster, id agree with you, but I have driven an 86 911SC and 996 Carrera and loved both. Hell, you could spent 10k on a civic and 5k on NOS and "smoke" a Porsche. But, your not driving a Porsche. And thats whats its all about. You are not buying a minivan, not a truck, not a family car. The Porsche is pretty much in a class by itself. I was unimpressed by them. For $70k they can keep them. There are nicer cars out there. My main argument was for the money he is looking to spend there are way nicer cars out there then a 80k mile porsche |
