I've always liked vettes.
As a sidenote, all the old geysers that drive them get automatics. They only want people to look at them...not look at them while they're going fast.

4 rotor in a vette? actually not gross. the 70's vette was slated to have a rotary engine, designed by GM...
And honestly, I stood about two feet away from the one at the autoshow in Detroit and as far as I'm concerned you can have it, the thing is the plainest looking vette I have seen in year's.
I know the Z06 version is supposed to really up the HP, but if it doesn't look a little better it'll be a letdown.

My dads '02 vette has the fat 50 y/o seat option.
When you turn off the ignition the seat goes all the way back automatically so you can get your pot belly past the steering wheel.
I drove a '03 Z-06 2 weeks ago and was unimpressed. I was expecting a lot more they way everyone portrays it as the ultimate sports car. It did not feel like a 400 HP car it felt heavy and cumbersome although it was extemely well behaved. I still contend the C-5 can make a so so driver look good.
For the money I would rather buy something else and mod it.
I would imagine the C-6 is gonna cost in the 50-60 range. I would rather buy a 96 Viper and mod it. 50K would get you a sweet 3 rotor Pettit Banzai.
It will be fun to stomp on the C-6's now.
