Actually, the base price for an Evo MR, with no options whatsoever is $35,499. The base price of a Corvette is $44,510. It can jump up though, to $48,870, if you add options like a 6-disk mp3 player, hud, heated power seats, power telescopic wheel, among other luxury items.

are you retarded?...the evo m-r is the top of the line evo...the evo rs is the bottow...and it starts at 28.5k...why are you trying to compare prices of the lowest possible price of one car to the highest possible price of another car?

so like i said...if you want to compare top of the line in each car model...the vette probably goes to 55 or 60k

edit:..what the hell is up with the picture?

Top of the line Vette with the HUD without all the gimmicky I.C.E. will go for 45,000. GM has stated clearly that it doesn't want this car going for above 50K. ON original delivery they might have been high because they were rare, but they aren't that much more expensive then an evo, and you can be 7 feet tall and drive one. The evo max's out, comfortably, at around 6 feet.

saw a dark blue 05 on the way to work, that thing was beautiful

i test drove an evo....when I was heavier...I'm 6'2" and at the time I was 270-280 and I was perfectly comfortable.

also..the poin tI was trying to make is that the evo m-r comes with extras that the base evo doesn't....if you add options to the vette...it goes way above 50k

And once again. NO it doesn't go above 50K unless you are talking aftermarket equipment. And 35,000 will get you a fully prepped 2005 GTO which is the same engine as the C6, so it isn't like the EVO is some kind of deal. BTW I am 6'4" 200 and my knees were against the dash with the seat all the way back.

I was saying if you put some money into them. cause thats the arguement people always use against the srt4. "well...for 22k...you could buy a used fd and build it up"...i'm just saying the same thing..for the price of a vette..you could have your self a baddass fd, svt cobra, srt4, evo, camaro/firebird....ect.

also...last time i checked...the evo didnt cost 35k

2k into a evo

the evo rs..which has all the performance...minus the 6speed as the evo m-r...evo m-r just has all the extras...like the stereo..power windws...all that other ****...which are options that you do not need. I was not directing my argument at you, but only the guy who said evos cost 35k...cause you get the smae performacne from an evo rs

Hey, my bad. I had seen an article on it, and thought the mr was tuned differently. I guess it was changed across the board. Nice pic, by the way https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

The evo MR is actually the sleeper evo. It doesn't have that ugly as sin wing. It has a hardcore LSD and no Traction control or ABS. It is missing A/C and a few other components so it is lighter, less aggressive looking, and faster. It is top of the line because it is rare as ****.
