I've seen this new hyundai tiburon in my parking lot at work. It looks way better than the previous body style, but I was wondering if the performance lived up to it's looks. I wouldn't mind having it. Any opinions?

Its got about 180 hp and a 6 speed. Not slow, but not a real sports car.

I hear they're very low-revving engines. Well, it's not that the redline is low, but they don't make much more power as the revs climb. It's a very anti-sports car engine.

The engine may be a little ho-hum but the handling is exceptional, evo magazine (UK) rates it as their pick of the small coupe class, and that's saying something.

out of 10 cars (i think) under 20,000 it was rated like 4 or 5 i think. the body is just horrible. cant stand the lines of it. has a huge rear end. actually now that i look at this pic i think it looks like a confused mustang for ricers to fix up

I thought it was suppose to have more power than this.. and a turbocharger.. It doesn't look too bad.

you gotta admit, it does look way better than the other tiburon...which looked a fin shy of swimming...if I had one, I probably would've drove it right into the ocean, then drowned with a puzzled look on my face
