i'm a fan of the 03 model year. Bug eyed lights, and i'd take the spoiler off and just have a fiberglass trunk. I like the sleeper look though.

 

I like the '04 model better than the '02-03, but I'm still happy with my '02.

 

I absolutely hated the bug-eyes when they first came out. But now they're my fav. I think this will grow on me too.

ditto. Now that I own a 03 WRX, i think it looks the best. The look is very distinctive. Its certainly not sexy, but thats a good thing. I like that fact that it doesnt look like your average sedan.

 

I like my WRX because it's goofy, sexy and mean all at the same time.

 

current style = hot

new style bullshit = ******* UGLY, i mean look at that front, thats the definition of fugly right there.

 

that wing is boo, back to the drawing board IMO.

 

I have to say that after looking at the front end the past few weeks...its starting to grow on me. Not to say I "like" it...but in a way it is smoother than the 04-05 front. I attached a comparison pic below...seems they slimmed down the nose a bit...perhaps taking on a more Evo 8 pose.



I'd say that 06 STi is the "ant-eater" while the 04-05 is more a open mouthed fish...wise-mouth bass perhaps? hehe.



Love the new headlights...just wish they did something more the alfa romeo nose:

 

Least ugly Impreza so far IMO, looks like an upward trend for scooby between this and the Legacy.
