car was jacked... just completed oil change..

started the car in neutral and the wheels turned as if in gear... engaged the clutch only for startup..

left her in neutral and increased the rpms to find a slight increase in wheel turning speed...

dropped her to the ground and started in neutral... not enough power to move the car though

but was able to recreate it after jackin her up again...

most FWD cars do this, it's 100% normal

my mercedes jumps around in neutral too.

yeah, it still catch's in neutral there just isnt enough force to move the car when its on the ground, once i snapped my axle on my honda i noticed the same thing

This is why I drive automatics... o ya, and the fact that I really suck at driving a standard...but how many girls get to learn on an FD?

my vw doesnt do this... has a brand new tranny that got anything to do with it?

My 2K1 civic did the same thing only it actually did move the car at the stutterbox/rev limiter in neutral. I think it might have something to do with either a semi constant clutch pack or the whole assembly bleeding off excess power in a non dangerous manner.
