Can anyone identifiy the blow-off valve that's in this white Supra? Actually I think they guy he races has the same one, but anywho...

One of my friends said that that's what the Tial blow-off valve sounds liek but I'm not sure. He knows **** about cars, just reads about stuff on the internet.

 

I'm gona move this to other cars. Might have a better chance of finding out what it is from in there.

 

I'll say for one thing, any Supra I've seen with that sound as it lets off (How it stutters on the way down) was always boosting big time (20psi or so) and was said to have the HKS SSQ BOV. Perhaps in two spots?

Man that stuttering sounds so awesome on those Supras...

 

I've listened to a ton of BOV videos and haven't heard anything close. I don't know what factors into the sound, oh well. This is bothering me!

 

there is no blow off valve on the white supra in that video, thats compressor surge.
