Me and my cuz were just running around looking at a sporty car for him once he finishes pilot school, and came across a new evo that had some package added that cost like 3800 dollars, but I couldn't believe just how complete the car came.

4 piston brembo brakes, thick *** rotors, 17" enkie wheels, racing seats/interior, fmic, reverse cowl hood, i was impressed.

281 hp stock flared fenders 235 width wheels all around, some type of traction control, not real familiar with mitsu's version of traction control, but i've seen them at autocrosses and they are incredible.

I know this is kindof yesterdays news, and might even be somewhat of a repost, but I just thought I'd say something since it left such an impression on me.

I was bored one day so I went and looked at it. has alot of room on the inside, but the lady at the dealership pissed me off. she kept talking about all the cosmetic work that went into the car instead of the stuff I'm interested in. she kept repeating about the damn "Adjustable Lights" and then showed me how you can make them move "up and Down" by some **** thats on the turn signal stalk. seems pretty cool. wouldn't mind test driving one, but could care less about all the useless stuff like that. but have to agree with you, comes with alot of good **** stock. (the wheels, functional hood, and a few other things)

ya i saw a cop sitting in an open parking lot on the way back and was thinking to myself.....

"just how much fun could you have with a single cop in that evo, i mean I'd come screaming sideways in the parking lot and just start doing doughnuts around him."

the evo has everything that that cop car doesn't, just a random thought tho... wish they offered them on gta 3

Why not just pull him out of his car and beat him until money, a gun, and a nightstick float around above him. But then again that would be bad as you would most definatly have 3 stars on you.

I got to see one the onther night and talked to the guy driving it. He traded his C-5 in on it. He loves it. I like it a lot. If they loose that ricey wing I could see buying one.

I agree with you on the wing, Jims...I was stuck with a 14" fiberglass wing on the back of my car when I came back from school thanks to my step-dad riceing out my entire car with cheap ****, and to this day, can not get used to seeing it in my rearview mirror or when I check blind spots. It looks like a damn car beside me and my car looks like a ******* shoping cart (luckily the car is on its way out of here)

Why can't you unrice it? Also, that huge wing is a 480$ option, the std wing is the Lancer OZ edition, one.

I dunno, the Evo wing is outlandish, but I think it sorta looks at home on the car, at least more so than big outlandish wings look on any other car. I like the Evo, and would love to drive one, but I'd never own one, so the wing doesn't really concern me. Also, I can't believe no one's mentioned the water-spray for the intercooler, lol. It's run on a temp sensor and it spritzes jets of water onto the intercooler when intake temps get too hot, but it also has a manual control so you can spritz it whenever you deem necessary. I thought that was the coolest of the little neat-o features on the Evo.

are you serious??? i didn't even know that!!!!

a wing is ok, but that particular wing, kinda makes what could be a ritzy sports car, and turns it into a stereotype. I feel the same way about the STI. They are sexy as hell lowered w/o any wing at all, the wing just detracts attention away from the beauty of the car. worse off, it doesn't really serve a purpose. IMO

We've got guys here in Japan running Evo II's and III's boosting 1.5 kilos on the stock engine/stock head gasket/fuel system. Forged pistons = Teh ****.

Friend of mine blew his engine in his Evo II the other day....said it took 5 years of beating the **** out of it to do it. First boosting 1.5 kilos with the stock turbo, then with a TD-06/20G...They take the abuse rather well.
