Very cool girl. Actually everyone there was really cool. The local Mini dealership gave close to $1000 in prizes to them to give away. How cool was that. A mini speed shop also gave prizes too. There were 20 prizes to give away to 33 cars. It was a great meet.
I had a blast just tearing through the town. I am looking foward to their next meet in the spring.
The dude in that beat up mini claims he can get the rear to slide out in turns and drift it.
He is supposidly kicking serious *** in the Porsche BMW Club races. His front brakes were GIANT the rotors had to be 12" in diameter. They took up every bit of the 16" rim space.

Hey very cool!! But where are the mini's at? *cough* *cough* the real mini's......J/K
I'm still screwing around with this pickup. Took off the dual carbs last weekend and just got in the single carb. Hopefully it will run smoother without all the headaches of the duals.

Sweet!!! I bet that didn't cost anything either. There was supposed to be a couple of classics there but they broke down. LOL! Only kidding. Usually there are a few classics in attendance.
It seems like the classic guys dont like the big minis too much.
The girl in the pic above is building a SCCA production racing classic. I hope to get some pics of it when its done.

Yeah most the classic guys don't care for the BMW's. I ran into a lady the other day with a BMW and she didn't even know what my car was. I was like the original mini....duh. Haha, oh well. Cost me $335 shipped from the UK for a inlet manifold, carb, filter, dashpot cover, and I needed a condensor for my distrubutor. Are you still looking for a classic?

Not right now. I am really trying to hammer at my Mortgage. we made a lot of progress this year on it and once you see a result it becomes an obsession.
If all goes as planned I will be Mortgage free sometime next year. Then I can concentrate on another mini.
Why did you see something good?
