Actually, John Cooper was just a tuner who convinced BMC to make a more "tuned" Mini and sell it to general public. It was then called the "Mini Cooper." Theres a whole bunch of different Mini variants out there they made.

what kind of a crazy mixed up world do we live in where the mini, is not only bigger than the fc but it wieghs more than my 3 rotor fc?

Im over my New mini fad, after seeing 94 tourings one, I like those much better.

yah i like the older ones. the road and track had a test wieght of 2910, and the 3 rotor with fc wieghs 2860.

hmm, the had curb wieght and actual test wieght, so maybe thats with a pride of clowns in there or something, the fc is still shorter overall though
