I may be picking up a Volvo 240 with a little bit of custom work done to it for $2000...it would almost make a good winter beater, except for the V8 under the hood.

Whatever those things are on the hood would be gone:

Bored 350 and 700R4:

It's about as fast as my TII is right now, it just needs a little work.

Hell yeah...lol. I'll need something fast to drive while I build my next TII. Hell, I could probably tow it with that thing.

Nice. One of these days I want to build a nutty Volvo 242, the coupe version, but older than that one, so it has the two round headlights, and flat hood and grille. Slammed and blacked out

Not sure of what engine to use yet, thinking about a Grand National motor. Should move along nicely

Hmmm...GN powered flathood? That'd be a helluva ride!

Back when my mom had a 245, I wanted to put an LT-1 under the hood (LS1 wasn't out yet), so this would almost be a dream come true...lol.

what the hell ARE those things on the hood?

They look like vents off a boat.

Keep the fuzzy dice, those look cool on there.

I remember the kid explaining the hood thingies on a local forum, but I forget what they were. I'd definitely be keeping the A/C!

He may not be selling it whole after all, because he wants to keep the engine and somebody else on turbobricks.org wants the body, so we'll see.

have him help you swap in a 5.0 if he wants the engine.
