Now I have read everything. ******* crack smokers I swear. I say FU if you would take a FD/FC over a SL55 AMG. See one in person, because the pics do it NO justice. Say you dont like it, but to say you would take a $15,000 car over one of the most advanced cars in the world, is just insane. Thing has more power then a viper and its a LUXARY car, push button transmission on the steering wheel, the whole bit. By the way, thats the first time I have seen those rims, they come with nicer ones. Like the rims on a FD were so good looking?

When I had my detail shop, I did work for a Mercedes boutique, almost DAILY I drove a Benz of some sort, those SLs are ******* nice. Seeing one is one thing, DRIVING it is a pleasure. I can only imagine what the new ones drive like. I have seen many of the new SLs at the various marinas when Im fixing boats, they are nice, people cant help but stare at them, they are THAT nice. Pics do it no justice

Drive a Carrera 4, back in 1989, I drove a Turbo Carrera 4, hard to believe it was a low 13 second car, all wheel drive, smoooooooth. Dump the clutch whenever you want, no tire spin, no squatting, it just goes.

The new SL is a beautiful car. The SL55 AMG is an absolute rocket by all accounts. Sign me up in a few years when I have a butt-load of cash.
