Last I heard it was a turbo 2.3L. If the 2.3 is anything like the BP making that thing a monster will be no problem......

That car is hot, although the TL gives it quite a run for its money in the looks department.

heres what mazda is saying....

With the MAZDASPEED6, Mazda attacks the mid-size sedan class with the purest expression of its Zoom-Zoom philosophy. 274 hp, 280 lb/ft. (targeted) of torque and all-wheel-drive are just the beginning of this car's performance abilities. MAZDASPEED has touched on every aspect of the drivetrain, brakes, suspension and body structure, and the result is nothing less than the fastest and best-handling sedan Mazda has ever sold.

pricing.

"sedan" So that means it's faster than the v6 millenia or whatever.

28g's is actually a really good price for that much car. I mean, look at the sti, it's 30-31g's and you don't even get a ****** radio! That thing is going to be loaded, great performance, handling and ammenaties. I bet it'll sell well

Its an inline 4 turbo, Intercooled dohc on an aluminum block. its 274 hp and 280 torque which is no t bad but teh car weighs 3500 pounds which is kinda heavy. thast y its slow adn only does 0 to 60 in 6.2 seconds. it comes with a 6 speed tranny though which is good.

And its in production already.

That, if and when it makes it, WILL be my next car. Just cause you have to get the kids to school, doesnt mean you cant embarrass little civic with a fart pipe on it. Mazda makes me happy.
