I gotta say I am hooked on this ML. Here is one with some nice styling. Definate possibility.

Ford Explorer. 1992 to be exact. 
I would get neither of those to be honest, an SUV in my eyes is meant to roll over rocks, play in the mud, and navigate through tough terrain. Those two "cars" in my eyes, don't.
I would go with personally the LR3 or Range Rover Sport. I am more fond of the Sport though, but I don't have 60k to dump into a car.
