i thought the vette's came with ls2

Only after a certain year. I dunno about the 'Vettes but 98 was the year the LS1 started going in the F-bodies.

yup... first few years of the C5s had the LS1, then they went to the LS2. The later Z06s got the LS6 i believe.





I have a LS1 block with LS6 heads and intake...plus some other mods.

The LS2s came in the base C6 Corvettes and the later GTOs. 400hp 6.0L V8. The LS7 is the new 7.0L C6 Z06 motor.

turns out that i have some stuff about my surgery scheduled for that weekend already. Pocono sounds a helluva lot more fun that getting cut and dissected, but i gotta have it done. Let me know what comes up later on in the summer though... maybe i will be driving again at that point.
