i saw an older one today that i had never seen before. it was some old guy driving it. those things are tt right. as he was pulling away through the parking lot i could hear the turbos spool. man that was loud.

I'm not too sure if they have turbos or not, but they do look pretty nice.

The look of those car are mean.I think they are powered by a NA V8 if I can remember correctly.Maybe he put a turbo on it? I know they have the power to max out the stock 5spd tranny.I remember seeing that on Car and Driver once in the top speed competition.It would have kept up with the viper if it had a 6spd. :bigthumg:

hey shane, i saw a red lotus espirit today on broadway, he was turning right into "on the border" i got to be lucky enough to be behind him when he went around some people to get into the turning lane, i got to hear his turbos too ,i almost wet myself

The four-cylinders are single turbo, V8s (much rarer) are twin turbo

They used to all be a turbo 4 cylinder but a few years ago they ditched the 4 and replaced it with a small v8 twin turbo that fits in the same space. V8 is just newer, not any special option or anything. I think that you can still buy a new one for under $100k, which makes me wonder why anybody with that kind of money to spend would ever buy an NSX.
