How much faster are they vs the normal vettes. I had an 02' vette for a week and my buddies t2 with just full exhaust/intake was faster

 

70 hp or so. Plus ALOT of weight reduction

 

and better gearing in the tranny

 

stock t2's run 183 hp what would it take to get it to the 200 hp range and i have another question i have no exhaust on my t2 exept for the pre-cat. and i was wondering if i put the stock system back on i will loose hp correct?

 

racing beat claims 59 crank hp from their full exhaust, i believe that actually cuz the boost is increased. You'll need a FCD though, in fact you probably already do. I wouldn't drive with no exhaust with out at least an FCD cuz you're going to creep boost alot. Get a full turbo back and a cone and TID. It'll be nuts, trust me

 

yea i wont run with out an exhaust system as a mater of fact. my parents wont let me plate it until it has an exhaust system. and how do you think i already have a fcd cause i don't know if i do or not and what is a TID

 

FCD is a fuel cut defensor, they are cheap so get one. haha

TID is just basically an intake, you can make one yourself. Doing all that you'll be seeing like 9-10psi usually, which i've seen put down 220+whp. No joke

yea i know what the FCD is but i thought boost creep was bad because joltandpest told me that he blew up his 2nd gen because of boost creep

 

Boost creep = bad

Fuel cut while boosting = engine death
