They are still pricy these days.But modified they really move.Thinking of a toyota project?

Check ebay? That isnt too accurate. EIther it's horribly underbid or it's grossly overpriced.

early 90s?



they were sold here 91-95



91-92 are cheaper , more available



about 4-8000 depending on condition



the 93 is harder to find than 91,92



94 is harder and almost none



95 is basically extinct

My friend sold his 91 with a turbo conversion and TONS of goodies for $8K. It had about 350 at the wheels with a bad ring.

I've thought about getting a MR2 turbo before.. but never really cared about going through with it..

Go to autotrader.com they have some great MR2s for sale I looked there when I used to want one.

FWIW:



I bought my MR2 Turbo (1991) with Profec B, A warrantee, 17" Rims, Intake, and 96k Miles for $8000.



Weeks later I saw much more modified Mr2's go for that price!



But I can't complain, I ended up selling it for $8000 with 103k. It was a fun car, but I didn't like the idea of pushing the engine to its limits to acheive 350rwhp, and certain angles of the exterior don't look too pretty IMO.



But, if you think they can handle, you have to drive a MKI, my MKI can tear up 90 degree turns like whoa!

I'd say keep plugging away.. my friend just picked up a 91 MR2 Turbo for 2500... Only thing it needs it some bodywork but it came with the TRD widebody already installed.. 6500 bodykit.. ain't too shabby... car looks like **** now but its a project thats gonna blow peoples minds...
