I want this instead!!!

The CSL weighs in at just 3054 pounds and is set in motion by a 3.2-liter inline 6-cylinder that develops 360 hp at 7200 rpm. Gear shifts are performed with a Formula One-type steering wheel-paddle system. But in addition to a sequential racing shift mode, there is the option of using BMW's Drivelogic auto-changing system.

Basically...all the body panels are made from carbon fiber. They ditched the back seat and the side airbags. I guess you can say they put it on the subway diet cause it lost over 400lbs!

your thinking of the M3 GTR which was put into development to support BMW's LeMans racing GTR's. since they were using a V8 varient of the M3 to race in ALMS and they hadn't actually produced a street version they had to build a certain # of actual M3 GTR's. but this thing is absolutely beautiful.....i love it.
