its just that no official would REALLY know if it worked, see if the guy will pass it anyhow, unless its like some super strict state inspection thing. tell him the parts are obsolete and you have been looking for used ones. It's a super strict thing. So I can't do that. It's in the Tail Housing. The gear in there's not working or something. that's about the only thing I can come up wtih.. What about one of those digital speedos (like the ones for bicycles) that would optically measure a timing mark or sense a magnet or something on the rear wheel or prop shaft
