I wish it ws a GST...lol..it is a POS RS....

and both are stock... he's not gunna do n e thing to the RSX, he wants to trade it in in a few years and lease a Lexus.. he is a Luxury type person...

I need my speed..lol and really enjoy the attention...I get alot of attention drivin around im my eclipse, specally with my techno/bass thumpin' but I can only imagine the attention drivin' a 7....be even better when I can take the challenge at the light... lol....

and I will prolly look into the GST if I can't find the RX7....I do like the eclipse, just really tired of drivin a bottom of the line car..

Be in search of a seven before those 3 months are up though it may be difficult to find one in good condition. Also look at many not just 2 or 3 before you buy and make sure you get a compression check.

And again welcome to the best rotary forum around

thanks for the welcomes!

I am ready to go with out a car for a few months if I have to, I need to save up some cash before I start looking, plus the cash I can get for my eclipse... I am eyeballing lots fo RX7s though...

one question though? What is a compressions check? can any car repair place do it? what kind of result will I be looking for when I have it done...

also if there is anymore advice on what to watch out for when choosing my 7, please feel free to let me know!! I want to get a car the runs good, not really worried bout how the body looks,I get my body work for practally free...

Compression testing is the main test of a rotary engine.

If the engine has a problem, it will show low or uneven compression.

Some examples of good and not so good compression...

Good

100-95-95 rear rotor

95-100-95 front rotor

Not so good

70-75-70 rear rotor

75-60-75 front rotor

Anything 80 or lower I would start to worry about.

You can get this testing done at a local mazda dealer.
