nice car you've got there. every once in a while i think about getting one of those non-turbo MR2s to build a racecar out of, but rotaries are in my blood.

... it's not sexy ...
what's that all about?

these cars have stood the test of time in terms of looks. i still catch people giving me a second look when i drive mine and i think that's pretty good considering all the "SUV-and-rectangular-wedge"-crazed cattle out there in this land.

Well I should say "Not AS Sexy" (As the FD)

The MKII Looks just...odd. It's nose end is too "Ford Probe" where it should be "NSX". The rear panel's and whatnot are just odd IMO. The car has it's good angles and then some very odd ones. It's just very "Toyota"...for a lack of better words.

The MKI I think at times looks BETTER than the MKII, but it definitely shows its age being a BOX.

You'll still get looks, sure, because they are rare, not necessarily because everyone's in awe of it's design.

I still say they are a fun car to drive and own and I am glad Toyota made them just as they are...

Update: The car didn't pass inspection recently but I just ordered the inner tie rods it needs.

I also ordered a set of clear corners (looks great on the red car), a set of Eibach springs, and plan on getting floor matts, steering wheel, 16" Rims/Tires, and R-compound tires (For my stock rims, if possible) very shortly...by the end of april the latest. Oh and sway/strut bars.

I had a 91 NA hardtop converted with a JDM gen motor....upgraded all the mechanicals to 93+ specs...car was awesome with just 12psi....I miss that car.

NA's are ok. I wish we got the 3SGE's at least, instead of the crappy camry motor.

You can fit some stuff in the frunk, if you took the spare out. The rear trunk is surprisingly roomy.
