PT Cruiser Turbo. Chicks I know don't like the looks, but it is well put together for a cheaper American car and really has some power.

I rented a base model PT Cruiser 2 years ago and was impressed with the build quality, but the base engine and auto tranny sucked.

One of my co-workers bought a loaded Turbo and I took it for a rip a couple days ago. I was very impressed with the power, plus it is easily upgradeable right at the Mopar parts counter. It doesn't snap your head back quite like a stock FD, thank god, or I would have to cry. Damn impressive though. Nice solid gearbox.

Loaded with leather, chrome wheels and sunroof in the US is about $25,000. $23,000 without leather, chrome and sunroof. Plus excellent financing rates now.

hahaha thanks man. i actually know someone whos selling a fireo, but it dont fit 4 people, so thats out. i took her car shopping today and i turned her attention AWAY from the trail blazer (mass recall issues) and more towards the import world. she sat in the new 4 runner limited and she actually loved it, a used one goes for her price range so thats not so bad... too bad theres no older v8 4 runner limited's..

before that we checked out my fav pic for a 4 door american car... the jaguar xjr, they were asking 30k but after getting them down, its in her range... she didnt like it cause it was sooo big and was an "old persons car" but, then i reminded her of when we rented an xj8 and all the fun smokey burnouts it does.... if she does buy a jag, ill slap a kit on it and take it out racing instead of the fd..

any bad things about any of these cars any of you know about?
